EXPLANATION OF PARISH LOGO

The statement "A Eucharistic Community of Christian Disciples Proclaiming Jesus" is who God calls each of us to be.  The building is our church.  The colour blue is to honour Mary.  The wave, coming from the door, is representative of several things.  First, the 3 distinct colours in the wave represent the 3 persons of God: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Second, the wave is the river of life that flows from the altar bringing life wherever it goes (Ez 47).  Third, the wave is us, the people of God, Christian disciples, going forth from the church to the world, where we proclaim Jesus to others by performing works of mercy.
